The Annual Nokterra Auction is the Tribes Art Africas premier fundraising event. It also marks the 5th year anniversary of our Existence. We preview and sell by live auction approximately 100 original works of visual art and fine craft from our community of  artists, guilds, from our region and from across Nigeria. The selection reflects the makeup of the Art Centre itself, with a balance of painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, photography, Sculpture, fibre arts, glass and jewellery by accomplished artists who are leaders in their fields.

The money raised through the Auction supports the Art Centre’s programs and the Nigerian artists who contribute their works. The Auction includes many different styles of art, and there is something that everyone can afford with bids ranging from =N=40,000 to =N=20,000,000. This is a perfect opportunity for buyers to learn about art, to begin an original collection, or to add to the portfolio of artworks that they have already collected.
